Congrats and God bless to singerKelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock on the recent birth of their baby girl, River Rose Blackstock! I imagine Clay Aiken is happy for them. This baby will hear some of the best lullabye singers in the world.

Miley is fromFranklin, Tennessee. Clay is from Raleigh, North Carolina. 3. Both are experienced actors
While Miley made her acting debut early on television, Clay has acted from his youth in a local theater group to Broadway and TV screen as an adult.
4. Their religious backgrounds are similar
Clay and Miley are both Southern Baptists(Wikipedia) picture break :D
5. Both have experienced plenty of criticism and controversy
When you're in the public eye, you get plenty of both whether you deliberately caused it or not. Both seem to have learned how to overcome their critics and go forward. 6. Both Are Actively Involved in Charity work
Clay co-founded what later became the National Inclusion Project and has been an ambassador for UNICEF for several years. He also has been active in volunteering and promoting other causes and charities. While Miley hasn't started a charity(according to my knowledge and research) , she has been just as earnestly involved in charity work as Clay. 7. Both became famous in the early 2000's
Clay became famous through season 2 of American Idol in 2003. Miley Cyrus's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus was already well known as a Country singer and an actor, but Miley's rise to stardom began with the preteen set in 2006 with Hannah Montana . 8. Both have worked with Disney
Fromthe Walt Disney World Parade in 2003, to singing on Phineas and Ferb, Alladin and more; Clay's had a bit of experience in working with Disney. Miley got a big start there. 9. Both have sung about Butterflies
:D
10. Now, both have been featured on this blog :)
So, what do you think about these? Do you think I should have compared Clay with another celebrity? If so, who? Please give your opinion in the comment section below.
You probably don't know this, but June is "National Candy Month." So bring out your regular and sugar-free candy listen to some sweet music from Clay Aiken, and celebrate! You can find more of the usual and unusual holidays at Holiday Insights.candies
Have any favorite candies? I don't eat candy much anymore due to diabetes. Some of my favorites from child and teen years are Pop Rocks, wax bottles, fake tobacco and cigarettes. Mounds was my favorite as I got older. If you can't stand the usual candy flavors, then Popsugar has the list for you. If you play online games, Pogo has a special treat for you this month.
