A Plethora of Patriotism

                   In honor of the American holiday, Memorial Day, there will be some photos and excerpts from a few of my previous patriotic posts. Happy Memorial Day. Special thanks go to the United States military, former and currently serving,  and their families.

  • Remembering our Veterans and Honoring Our
    Servicepeople

       Today is a day that we set aside to honor those who have fought for America's freedoms, both dead and living, and those who serve our country today.   Volunteers go to national cemeteries to place flags, hold services, and more. If you haven't already, take a moment to pray for (or remember) those veterans who died, who are living, our soldiers serving now and all of their families....

    •  God Bless The USA

        Happy Birthday America! It's hard to believe that it has been 11 years since Clay Aiken performed in Washington, D.C. for PBS' s A Capitol Fourth !
                       What are your plans for the Fourth of July? Are you getting out to celebrate or watching fireworks on the T. V. ?

                 Here's some music and a photo to get you in a patriotic mood; ...

  Happy Independence Day! Have any plans to celebrate?

Fireworks, except for
public shows, are illegal
 here; and it's ironic
because there are lots of fireworks stores in
the area. I hope to spend a quite day at home watching TV
specials...

  •  Happy Memorial Day!

    Wishing everyone a Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to the men and women currently serving the USA and their families. Special thanks go to our veterans and the families who lost their servicemen and women in battle. ..

      Hope everyone has a great holiday, but please remember our servicemen and women and their families....

     I hope you enjoyed these excerpts. May we never forget those who sacrificed and those who sacrifice their lives for America's freedom.
