American Idol is Coming to Chattanooga
The festival normally takes place in Chattanooga, TN over 9 days during the third week of June, with local and famous performers on four stages at Ross's Landing. However the festival's organizers , Friends of the Festival, have trimmed the festival down to 4 nights, cut two events, moved the Riverbend Festival 2019 dates up to May 29th-June 1st, and switched the tokens used for food and drink and the pins for entry to tickets and wristbands . There were price changes, as well. Instead of one general admission price for around 30 dollars each- there are several, from 60 dollars each to over 200 for V. I. P. packages. The bad news is that most of the lower-priced tickets are sold out.
The Riverbend Festival lineup this year is;
Weezer scheduled for the 29th, Lionel Richie is headlining on May 30th, Keith Urban on the 31st, and Macklemore on June 1st. If you are coming to the festival this year and are visiting Chattanooga for the first time, TripAdvisor has suggestions for accommodation and things to do around town.
