Sunday's Song # 3: "Always and Forever"

This was the song that started Clay Aiken's music career, "Always and Forever." This was the song Clay sang for his audition on American Idol on January 29th, 2003. It was written by Rod Temperton and initially recorded by Heatwave  and later, recorded by Luther Vandross , among others. "Always and Forever" is such a classic love song, but Clay did an excellent job in 2003 and 2013.

What did you think when you saw Clay and heard him perform this song on live television during American Idol?  I can remember the excitement of 2003 and wanting to know more about this young man from North Carolina with a voice like an angel.
