Flashback Fridays: Invisible

        Do you remember how popular Clay Aiken and his single , "Invisible " were back in 2003, just after he competed on American Idol? I sure do. Clay went from being a college student  to being a household name. Fans were wanting to know more about Clay and to hear his music.

                "Invisible " was written by Andreas Michael Carlsson and Christopher Braide. It was a single and also featured on Clay's first full album, Measure of a Man . Braide also co-wrote  " This is the Night," which was on the same album.

                The video for " Invisible" was one of Clay's first official  videos. It was popular and there are a few parodies. Many of the parodies had made fun of the stalker-type lyrics ("Are you really alone? I wish I could be a fly on your wall..." ) .

The Way-Clay Aiken

       "The Way" was co-written by a team of songwriters, one of whom is Enrique Iglesias. It was one of the songs from Clay Aiken's first full album, "Measure of a Man."

       I can remember that Clay didn't think that the video producers chose models/actors who were 'quirky' enough.  Still, it as a beautiful love song and was a great song and video for a young singer starting out. The Claymates were surely buzzing on the message boards when the first news of the album were announced. I miss those days when we waited for album and tour news. Hopefully, Clay will tour again soon. The  song is available on Amazon, as a single and on Measure of a Man.
