Lauren Alaina , the runner up to Season 10, is from Rossville, GA-which is about 25 miles away from Chattanooga, TN. She did a benefit during Homecoming Week for survivors of tornadoes that swept the South East this past spring, but now she is going to do a concert to raise funds for the Forgotten Child Fund and it will be held at Track 29(aka The Chattanooga Choo Choo) on December 7th of 2011. The Forgotten Child Fund is for children in the Greater Chattanooga Area who might not otherwise have a Christmas. The Chattanooga Police and Fire Department and several area locations serve as places to donate toys. Some of the toys are picked up att a "store", but the neediest families receive toys through a Santa Train-made up of police cars, fire engines, city buses and etcetera. Santa and his volunteers deliver toys and food to these families.
