I had an Awesome time at the Asheville concert, the premiere concert of Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard's 2010 Timeless Tour. It was held outdoors at Biltmore Estate on Friday, July 23rd 2010-beginning at 8 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. There were some great singing and some funny bits. There were several melodies from the 50's through the 90's. If you haven't seen this tour ,yet; get ready to see the upcoming concerts or to see the clack or Youtube videos, or you'll miss out. This was my second time to see Clay live, first to see Ruben, and first trip to Biltmore. I didn't tour Biltmore, just went to the concert. I'll go back another day to tour Biltmore.
I've not updated this page or my Clay Aiken OFC Blog
yet, because I got back last Saturday night and had family in my house to house sit while I was away. They visited with us as my mother and I came home a day early and stayed through last night. Traffic coming home from Asheville on I-40 was bad, but otherwise the trip was great. We made stops in Knoxville and Gatlinburg, as well. Other than the concert that I went to, my mother and I didn't make a lot of stops to tourist attractions. It was too hot! I'm glad I wasn't in a hot suit under hot lights and sun like Clay and Ruben(and the band ) were! We had a not so pleasant stay at one motel in Gatlinburg after going there for ages(blamed us for our motel cards not opening the door) and a great time at the Country Inns and Suites at Biltmore Square
