Image via WikipediaClay Aiken's 2011 Tour is not stopping at the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville as was originally announced, but will be moved to a smaller venue at the Bijou Theatre( in Knoxville , there's also one here in Chattanooga. ) . If you're not familiar with the area the Bijou is about 2 blocks away from the Tennessee (it's still two blocks away if you are familiar with the area :D ). Today, I received an email and a phone call, that alerted me to the change. I had been to the Tennessee before but not the Bijou.
On the plus side, I will be getting an extra souvenir ticket and the new venue has a "..smaller, more intimate... " feel. On the minus side, it won't be the same venue as the last time that I was there-so I'll have to figure things out. Although I was born in Knoxville, I left before I was 2; so I don't know my way to and from many places; but my ride will(my Mom) .
I've got my hotel room booked, I'll get my new ticket soon, and then early next week I'll have my bag packed and ready to go. If you're going to the Knoxville concert, I'll see you there. Whether you are going to Knoxville or any of the other venues on the Tried and True Live tour, or are just going to be following via Clack and Youtube; have a fun tour
