Sunday's Song 6: "Solitaire"

     One of my most favorite songs to hear Clay perform live is "Solitaire." Those notes sound great anytime and anywhere, but it isn't the same as the live performance.

                           "Solitaire" was composed by Neil Sedaka and Phil Cody.  Several singers recorded the song, including; The Carpenters, Neil Sedaka, Andy Williams, and Elvis.  Andy Williams requested his own version of the song, but Karen Carpenter's recording is probably the most popular.
 Sedaka was a guest judge when Clay performed the song on American Idol.
